Child support and DEATBEAT help; post their pics on this site of deadbeats?
Yvette B yvetteb asked:
Post the DEADBEAT PARENT who owes you childsupport (and yeah, he owes it to you, or it would be called “child trust fund” [which is different]). Here are some other links that may help.
If your local child support agency isnt helping or enforcing the DEATBEAT, contact your federal regional office (link is here too). Find it, and write them (calls don’t help).

all you need is a court order for CS. if he denys his child, they do DNA to establish that they are the father.

Trust Funds / Tax Advantages?
babbles asked:
What are the advantages of putting your assets into a trust fund, say with your kids names on the accounts. Can you put your house in a trust too? Do people do this for tax advantages or is it to make your assets pass to your children’s hands easier if you die?

In NY, a living trust has 6 beneficiaries; the grantor’s son is the successor trustee, main beneficiary ?
Insert funny name asked:
and executor of the will. The father had given some $ for his grandchildren’s college fund (and had paid college tuition for other relatives), and verbally indicated that he would help fund them more. But they are not mentioned in the trust at all. Does the trustee have any right to put $ in his children’s college fund based on believing the father wanted to do so?
(Most of the college savings had been depleted due to the parent’s unemployment).
Of course, once the trust has been distributed, the benes can give the $ to whomever they want.

How can I know if I can trust an NGO charity in Colombia that works with street children?
Ksull asked:
I’m particularly interested in doing fund-raising work for the “Open Arms Foundation.” I’m wondering if anyone knows of them, or if anyone can give some criticism, positive or negative, of specific NGOs working with homeless children in Colombia. Any advice at all on researching charities without actually being able to visit the country would be a big help.

Why do some people think that “Child Support” is “Child Trust Fund”? happens to yuo?
Yvette B yvetteb asked:
Its not “child trust fund”. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Why do some people think that? as if parents are supposed to hand the child support to the children to pay the bills. Do they honestly think the bills will get paid? anyone out here run into this mentality? and how did you deal with it?

conesting trust fund question ?
enola gniyd asked:
my Grandfather died last night leaving his 1.5 million dollar trust to his three children,my father, uncle and aunt.It is comprised mainly in farm ground of aprx 325 acres. My uncle and aunt may do as they wish with their inheritance but my father is supposed to be unable to sell any property but may only receive payments from a share cropper which should give my father aprx $25k per year, when he dies the trust fund says the land goes to his surviving 7 children and we may sell it or do what we wish.My father seeks to contest this on the grounds that when my grandmother was alive (she died 14 years ago) that she signed a 5 x 8 card that my father wrote out stating that she owned half of the property and her wishes are that my father could sell the property, this was aprx 1 week after my grandfather had written the trust fund up and my father did not contest anything then or when my grandmother passed away so it has been in place at least 14 yrs.dad wants to drill for oil grandpa said no

my girlfriend spends money to much?
I wonder asked:
My girlfriend is a trust fund child. Her father is worth in the huindred millions but I am a poor police men with not much money. I pulled her over fopr speeding in her BMW and thats how we met.
Her father aproves of me but only because I will be running for sherrif soon. Preblem is my girlfriend likes to spend for example 5 thousand dollars on cloths yesterday at the mall. For my birthday she bought me a new Lincoln pick up truck. Im not complaining but I feel bad when I can only afford to buy her some cheap neklace for christmas.
I feel insulted when everytime we go out its at 5 star resturaunt and she always insists that she pay for everything as she is well aware of my finances. waht do I do? I love her to death and we get along great but I am secretly insulted by her lack of smarts when it comes to money. Her father feels she spends to much to and has comented on it several times.
